Breast cyst

Very low urgency
--

A breast cyst is a round or ovoid fluid-filled mass that is usually benign. Although they can appear at any age, they are most common between the ages of 40 and 50.

Breast cysts can be single or multiple, and present as a palpable mass with associated pain or discomfort. Breast cysts can vary in size, number and magnitude of symptoms.

They are diagnosed by physical examination and breast ultrasound.
