Pregnancy-related pains

Very low urgency
Common-

Discomfort or pain that may appear as the pregnancy progresses, as a result of the growth of the uterus due to the growing fetus.

They may manifest with discomfort in the back, abdomen, groin area and thighs. Pain may also appear in the pelvic area: pubis and hips, due to the pressure exerted by the baby's head, the increase in weight and the flexibilization of the joints.

The diagnosis is clinical, by means of an interrogation and a gynecological examination. Other pathologies that can cause abdominal pain should be ruled out: acute pyelonephritis, urinary tract infection, labor contractions, etc.

Treatment consists of local heat, rest and analgesia if necessary.
