Very low urgency

These are alterations of the joints and muscles that connect the jaw to the skull.
They are caused by mechanical alterations of the structures that compose it, as well as psychic disorders.
It manifests with clicking and pain when opening and closing the mouth.
The diagnosis is made through clinical history.
Treatment is based on physical measures and conventional analgesics. In many cases, it resolves spontaneously and rarely requires surgery.
