Tympanites

Very low urgency
--

It is the accumulation of gas in the intestines, which causes bloating of the abdomen, belching, wind and abdominal pain.

It is mainly due to the air we swallow when eating and the release of gas from food that ferments in the intestine.

Diagnosis is clinical and treatment focuses on proper nutrition in combination with medications that reduce symptoms.

Although bothersome, it is a disease that is not usually serious.
