Common headache

Very low urgency
Very common-

Headache is one of the most common symptoms with which people go to Emergency departments all over the world (up to 4.5% of consultations).

Although in the majority of cases it is caused by minor illnesses, it is one of the biggest diagnostic challenges for the clinician who must establish the severity of the headache based on questioning and physical examination.

It is likely to be a banal headache if it has a slow start, characteristics similar to previous episodes, absence of concomitant infection and is not accompanied by a loss of consciousness or neurological deficits.
