Female genital bleeding caused by lesions or genital tumours.
The most common causes are myomas, polyps, ulcers or tumours.
It manifests with a more intense and/or longer than usual genital bleeding. If it appears after the menopause, an early test must be performed to rule out cervical neoplasia.
Diagnosis is based off of yhe patient's guided questioning, a genital examination and a diagnostic ultrasound. In selected cases, other imaging test might be needed to complete the study.
In many cases, the treatment for the cause required surgery.
