Very low urgency
--
Accumulation of gas in the intestines, which causes bloating of the abdomen, belching, wind and abdominal pain.
It is mainly due to the air we swallow when we eat and the release of gas from food that ferments in the intestine.
Diagnosis is clinical and treatment focuses on proper nutrition in combination with medication to reduce symptoms.
Although uncomfortable, it is usually not a serious disease.
