アヘン由来の薬剤使用またはヘロインの消費により発生する症状です。過剰摂取は事故または故意に発生します。症状には精神状態の変化、呼吸抑制、低血圧および脈拍の弱さが含まれます。診断は、病歴、身体検査および追加の検査により行われます。外来であってもできる限り早急にナロキソンという解毒剤を用いて、対症的および対処療法を行います。
