新生児の男性で、片方または両方の睾丸が陰嚢内に降りてきていない状態です。小児科の定期診察で発見されます。一般的には、最初の1年で自然に降りてきます。自然治癒しない場合は、早期の手術による治療が不妊症や癌の確率を下げるために有効です。
