中程度の緊急性

通常血液を通じて間接に到達した細菌による感染症に起因する関節の腫れです。主に膝関節、足首および股関節に影響を及ぼします。
関節の痛みおよび炎症が現れ、しばしば触診時に赤く熱があります。発熱がみられる場合がありますが、診断に必須の徴候ではありません。
この症状は問診および身体検査を通して診断されます。血液検査、関節液およびレントゲン検査により調査を完了します。
治療は抗生物質で行います。抗生物質はできるだけ早く、長期間投与されなくてはなりません。必要な場合手術をしてでも関節からの排膿することを推奨します。
医療的緊急事態です。適切かつ早期治療が施されれば、後遺症なく回復できる可能性が非常に高いです。
