緊急性が低い

膣の細菌叢のバランスを変える大量の細菌が原因で起こる膣の感染症です。
15-45歳の女性によく発症します。
この症状の原因は明確でありませんが、新しい性的パートナーを持つこと、複数の性的パートナーを持つこと、膣洗浄などを含む要因で発症しやすくなることが言われています。
性感染症（STD）とは見なされていません。
感染していても症状がない場合も非常に多くあります。症状が現れる場合、魚のような非常に不快な匂いのする白っぽいまたは灰色のおりものを伴います。性器部のかゆみおよび排尿時のヒリヒリ感を伴う場合があります。
病歴および婦人科診査により診断されます。
治療は抗菌薬投入に基づき行われます。
医療的緊急事態ではありませんが、病気が疑われる場合は産婦人科を受診することを強く推奨します。
