감각 또는 운동 기능에 영향을 미치는 신경근 장애입니다.
가장 흔한 원인은 추간판 탈출로 인한 신경 압박입니다.
진단은 병력 확인과 철저한 신체 검진을 바탕으로 이루어집니다. 일반적으로 척추의 변화를 감지하고, 영향을 받은 신경을 식별하며, 원인을 명확히 파악하기 위해 영상 검사가 필요합니다.
치료는 일반적으로 파라세타몰과 비스테로이드성 항염증제를 사용하여 통증을 없애는 것을 목표로 합니다. 반응이 없거나 만성적인 경우 진통 효과를 높이기 위해 아편 제제, 코르티코스테로이드를 비롯한 기타 약물이 필요할 수 있습니다. 더 심한 경우에는 신경을 감압하는 수술로 치료할 수 있습니다.
