외이도와 중이를 분리하는 고막이라는 미세 조직이 찢어지는 질환입니다. 감염, 갑작스러운 압력 변화, 과도한 소음 또는 직접적인 부상으로 인해 발생합니다. 의학적 문진을 통해 진단하고 이경 검사를 통해 확진합니다. 때때로 수술 중재가 필요할 수 있지만 대개는 자연적으로 치유됩니다. 파열 부위가 있는 동안에는 감염 및 청력 손실의 위험이 있습니다.
