코 또는 입을 통해 작은 물체를 흡입하여 기도에 머무르게 되는 것입니다. 폐로 가는 공기의 통로를 차단하여 심각한 호흡부전(호흡정지 포함)을 일으킬 수 있으므로 의학적 응급처치가 필요한 상황으로 간주됩니다. 손이 닿기 쉬운 작은 물체를 흡입하여 발생하는 경우가 많습니다. 일반적으로 기침, 호흡 시 쌕쌕거리는 숨소리 및/또는 질식 증상이 나타납니다. 임상 문진과 신체 검진, X선 및 CT 스캔을 통해 진단합니다. 전문의가 기도에서 이물질을 제거하여 치료합니다.
