前庭神经炎是第8脑神经的急性炎症;它通常只影响一方。这是眩晕的第二大常见原因。
原因似乎是1型疱疹病毒感染。
它表现为突然发作的眩晕，伴有恶心和呕吐。眩晕是激烈的，非常致残。
通过询问和完整的体检来诊断临床。没有具体的测试。
症状持续约1或2天，并逐渐缓解。症状将用抗惊厥和止吐药治疗。
